The 2024 Pine Mountain 5OO is scheduled for Sunday, August 4th. Come run 1, 2 or 4 loops. Each loop measures 2.7 miles.
How EXTREME are you?
All participants will receive a sweet ultra-soft T or tech-top, depending on the race, with all finishers earning an EXTREME medal. You'll also enjoy our post-race PARTY, with food, music...and FUN!

The event will start at the top of Pine Mountain. Participants will race down Kramer Drive to Lower Pine Mountain Road/Hibbard Street before turning on Pine Mountain Road and racing UP the Pine Mountain Staircase, the largest outdoor staircase in the United States! (500 step climb...) Event is chip timed from our friends at Superior Timing, and participants will receive an overall and a Pine Mountain 500 CLIMB time. Deuce participants will do it twice...EXTREME athletes will run 4 loops! Bring your crazy, and let's RUN!

The Pine Mountain 5OO consists of 1 loop (2.7 miles), 2.5 miles of gradual downhill running, then finishing by running UP the Pine Mountain Staircase, a 500-step monster that will have your quads barking.
